Need a hand? Write to
support@forgedial.comBefore you configure a line
Ask your SIP provider or PBX administrator for the SIP address, authentication username and password, registrar or domain, transport, and any required outbound proxy or STUN/TURN settings. Confirm which media-encryption settings the service supports. Enter those details in Accounts, then check registration status. Never share the password in an inquiry or support message.
If registration fails
Confirm the account is enabled and the address, authentication username and server match your provider’s instructions. Check network reachability, transport and port, and whether the provider permits connections from your current network. For TLS failures, confirm the hostname and certificate configuration with your administrator; do not disable certificate verification just to hide the error.
If calls have no audio or video
Check microphone and camera permissions, the selected speaker or headset, and volume. Ask your administrator to check media routing, firewall/NAT and supported codecs. One-way audio often requires provider or network investigation. Change one setting at a time and keep a redacted record of the result.
If you miss incoming calls
Check notification permission, account registration and your device’s background-operation settings. Incoming-call behavior depends on network access, device settings and your provider. Include whether the problem occurs with the app open, in the background or after the device has been idle.
Send a useful support request
Email support@forgedial.com with the details below. We do not need your SIP password, private key, complete contact list or full call recording to begin investigating.
- App version, device model and system version.
- What you expected, what happened and the approximate time and timezone.
- Whether the issue affects registration, outgoing calls, incoming calls, audio, video, messages or notifications.
- Transport and a general description of the SIP/PBX environment, with private identifiers removed.
- Short reproduction steps and, if useful, a redacted screenshot. Only send diagnostic exports after reviewing them for credentials, phone numbers, message contents and other sensitive data.
Contact your provider for service matters
Your SIP provider or PBX administrator handles credentials, numbers, carrier charges, service outages and deletion of provider-held accounts or records. ForgeDial support cannot reset a third-party SIP password or cancel that service. Do not rely on ForgeDial support for emergency assistance.
Privacy, local data and deletion
Use the app’s account, history, message and contact controls to remove local entries. Your device’s app storage controls can reset local app data. Exported files and provider-held data must be managed separately. To request access, correction or deletion of website inquiries and support correspondence, email support@forgedial.com. See the Privacy policy for the full data-handling explanation.
Planning a team deployment
Tell us about your existing SIP or PBX infrastructure, the workflow you want to support, and any optional team-size or compatibility requirements through the inquiry form. Share a high-level description first; keep passwords, customer records and sensitive network details out of the form. We will follow up by email to understand the scope.
